Q: Do you shoot in black and white or color?

A: We always shoot in color. Black and white prints can be easily converted from the original color photos.

Q: Can I keep the negatives?

A: Some wedding packages offer a DVD of the high-resolution source file "negatives" that will allow you to order reprints on your own. If your package does not include a negative DVD, you may add it as an option.

Q: How many pictures do you take?

A: Unlike some other photographers, we do not limit you to a pre-set the amount of photographs. Since we shoot digitally, we will take as many photographs as possible to provide you the best selection of proofs.

Q: Do you require a deposit?

A: Yes - and you should be wary of any photographer who does not. In order to book us for an event, you will sign a contract. One-third of the total cost of your package is due at signing. Your initial payment also serves as a retainer to reserve us for the date of your event. The second third is due 30 days before your event and the final third is due the day of or the day before your event.

Q: What packages do you offer? What are your rates?

A: A list of our packages is available on the "Weddings" page on the menu at the top left of this page. Please contact us for pricing information.

Q: Do you use digital or film?

A: We use all digital. Digital photography brings down the cost of the packages offered and allows us to take many more photographs during your event than possible with traditional film photography.

Q: Can I see examples of your work?

A: You can see many examples of our photography on this website. After contacting us to discuss your event, we will set up a meeting where we will bring examples of our work and different album options.

Q: How far are you willing to travel?

A: We are based in Shillington, just outside of Reading, PA. We will travel to Philadelphia, Allentown, Lancaster, or Harrisburg to meet with you.

Q: How quickly will I receive my prints?

A: Ultimately, this depends on several factors out of our direct control. After your event, we will deliver proofs (small versions of all the photos taken during your event) as soon as we receive them from our processor. Upon receipt of your proofs, you can choose exactly which photos you would like to complete your album. We will order the prints as soon as you choose your final proofs and deliver the final album as quickly as possible. This process will be explained in detail during our initial consultation.

Q: Do we hire you for a set number of hours for the day?

A: At this time, we provide coverage for the entire duration of your event, not on an hourly basis.

Q: Does it cost extra to have you photograph before the ceremony? How about multiple locations?

A: No. All of our wedding packages include coverage for the ceremony, reception, and any other incidental venues you may choose. Multiple locations are not a problem.

Q: Can you print my photo on different paper surfaces; example: glossy or matte?

A: Yes. Both matte and glossy prints are available for the same price.

A: We accept cash or check only.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: Cancellation will forfeit your retainer payment (one third of your package price that is paid upon signing a contract).

Q: How far in advance should I book you?

A: We never want to push anyone into signing a contract, but dates do fill up quickly. Our recommendation is to book as soon as you book your event's location.

Q: Do you come alone or does someone assist you at the wedding?

A: The photographer will come with an assistant for most events.
